Shot listing

Shot 1: A long shot of the green screen introducing the filming ratings for the trailer. This is a convention to a trailer as this will inform the audience on who can watch the film.


Shot 2: A shot of the production credits are shown- This allows the audience to know who produced the film showing acknowledgement for it.


Shot 3: An establishing shot of the forest - to show the audience where the film's location is.


Shot 4: A medium shot of the protagonist is shown as she is putting away the camping equipment away - Gives the audience some hint on some context of what happens in the film


Shot 5/6: A close up shot of the phone as the protagonist is looking through the photos - This start to show some tension being build as it the protagonist sister being killed by the antagonist.


Shot 7: The camera blacks out to show another production credit.


Shot 8: (flashback) - A medium shot of of the back of the Old women's head - as the camera will pan around as she explains the past of the forest to the two sisters.


Shot 9: Close up shot of the newspaper being given to the girls - Allows the audience to be apart of film by finding out more about the past of the forest.


Shot 10: A long shot of the living room where the two girls are asleep- Starts to show the antagonist coming into action, by pulling one of the girls leg.


Shot 11: The camera blacks out.


Shot 12: A two shot is shown of the girls talking about camping out to find out more about the antagonist with the past of the forest.


Shot 13/14: (shot reverse shot) An over the shoulder shot (X3) of them discussing about them camping on the weekend.


Shot 15: The camera blacks out.


Shot 16: An extreme close up is shown of the protagonist searching around the house (video camera), looking for her sister.


Shot 17: The camera black.


Shot 18: (Match on action) A medium shot of the protagonist coming up the stairs


Shot 19: The camera blacks out


Shot 20: A close up of the protagonist holding the handle of the door - as she starts to open the door to go into the room to find out where the noise is coming from.


Shot 21: The camera blacks out.


Shot 22: A medium shot of the protagonist walking into the room


Shot 23: Close up of the wardrobe door being opened


Shot 24: A high angle shot of the one of girls being possessed and being placed in the wardrobe.


Shot 25: Camera blacks out and shows the director names - allows the audience to be familiar with the directors from a previous film.


Shot 26: A high angle of the protagonist running down the stairs.


Shot 27: The camera cuts out to a black screen


Shot 28: A low angle shot is shown of the antagonist at the top of stairs - then immediately cuts- making these shot quick and memorable.


Shot 29: The camera cuts to a black.


Shot 30: An extreme close up of the protagonist with the video camera running outside.


Shot 31: The camera blacks out.


Shot 32: A long shot of her running into back to the camping site.


Shot 33: The camera blacks out.


Shot 34: A close up of the protagonist looking inside of the forest.


Shot 35: A long shot is shown of the antagonist hidden behind a tree - spying on protagonist.


Shot 36: The camera blacks out.


Shot 37: A Close up of the protagonist with the video camera going further into the forest.


Shot 38: A close up of the antagonist's hand grabbing the protagonist


Shot 39: A quick close up of the antagonist as it reveal it identity to the audience.


Shot 40: The camera blacks out.


Shot 41: A long shot of the title of the film is shown. This is a convention of a trailer as its important that audience know what the film is called.


Shot 42: Another long shot of of the release date of the film along with the website of the film. These are all conventions of a trailer as it informs the audience about the relevant information about the film which will intrigue them to go and watch it.
